Terms of Service
Last updated 13 September 2026
These terms govern your use of AvoraCap, a website that adds captions to videos. AvoraCap is operated by Shaik Sajid, a sole proprietor based in Hitech City, Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What the service does
AvoraCap listens to the speech in a video you choose and produces captions timed to each word. It can write those captions in the language's own script, in Roman letters the way people type in chats, or translated into English. You can restyle them, correct them, trim silences, and export a video with the captions burned in or the captions on their own.
The captioning uses automatic speech recognition and language models. It will sometimes be wrong. You are responsible for reading the captions and correcting anything that matters before you publish. We do not promise any particular level of accuracy.
Your video stays with you
Your video file is never uploaded to us. Everything that touches the picture, including the export, happens inside your own browser. Only a compressed copy of the audio is sent out, so that it can be transcribed. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
Accounts
- You can use AvoraCap without an account. An account gives you your own allowance instead of one shared per device, and saves your caption projects so you can carry on from another device.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give a real email address. We use it to sign you in, to reset your password, and to contact you about your account or a payment.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. If you are under 18, use AvoraCap only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
Plans, allowances and payment
- The Free plan is genuinely free and needs no card.
- Paid plans buy you a larger allowance of transcription minutes, longer clips and higher export resolutions. The current plans, prices and limits are shown on the pricing section and inside the app, and are part of these terms.
- Prices are in Indian rupees and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Nothing renews automatically. A plan runs for its stated period and then simply stops, returning you to the Free plan. We do not store your card and we never charge you again without you starting a new payment.
- Payments are taken by a payment gateway authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. Your card or bank details are entered on the gateway's own page and are never seen or stored by us.
- Allowances are counted per day, and for monthly plans also across a rolling 30 days. Unused minutes do not carry over.
- We may change prices or limits. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for.
How you may use it
You must have the right to the video you caption. Do not use AvoraCap to:
- process anyone else's content without their permission;
- create material that is unlawful in India, or that harasses, defames, or infringes someone's rights;
- caption sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence or hatred;
- break, overload, or work around the service's limits, including by automating access or sharing one account among many people;
- resell the service as your own without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things, without a refund of any unused allowance.
Who owns what
Your video, your captions and your edits remain yours. We claim no licence over them beyond what is technically needed to run the service for you. The AvoraCap name, design, templates and software remain ours.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, available in every browser, or free of faults. Export relies on video features your browser provides, and some browsers and devices cannot do all of it; where we know of a limit we say so in the app.
Limit of our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost audience, or the consequences of a caption being wrong. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using AvoraCap at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@avoracaptions.com. We may end your access if you break these terms, or withdraw the service entirely with reasonable notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will say so on this page and, where we can, by email.
