Terms of Service

Last updated 13 September 2026

These terms govern your use of AvoraCap, a website that adds captions to videos. AvoraCap is operated by Shaik Sajid, a sole proprietor based in Hitech City, Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What the service does

AvoraCap listens to the speech in a video you choose and produces captions timed to each word. It can write those captions in the language's own script, in Roman letters the way people type in chats, or translated into English. You can restyle them, correct them, trim silences, and export a video with the captions burned in or the captions on their own.

The captioning uses automatic speech recognition and language models. It will sometimes be wrong. You are responsible for reading the captions and correcting anything that matters before you publish. We do not promise any particular level of accuracy.

Your video stays with you

Your video file is never uploaded to us. Everything that touches the picture, including the export, happens inside your own browser. Only a compressed copy of the audio is sent out, so that it can be transcribed. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

Plans, allowances and payment

How you may use it

You must have the right to the video you caption. Do not use AvoraCap to:

We may suspend or close an account that does these things, without a refund of any unused allowance.

Who owns what

Your video, your captions and your edits remain yours. We claim no licence over them beyond what is technically needed to run the service for you. The AvoraCap name, design, templates and software remain ours.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, available in every browser, or free of faults. Export relies on video features your browser provides, and some browsers and devices cannot do all of it; where we know of a limit we say so in the app.

Limit of our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost audience, or the consequences of a caption being wrong. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using AvoraCap at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@avoracaptions.com. We may end your access if you break these terms, or withdraw the service entirely with reasonable notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will say so on this page and, where we can, by email.
