Is it really free?
Yes. Every account starts with 5 caption minutes that never expire, 2 Auto Trim minutes, and every caption style and animation. Free exports are 720p MP4 with a small watermark. Plans add more minutes, clean HD and 4K exports, SRT files and custom fonts.
Which languages does it support?
18 in total: 10 Indian and 8 international. Indian languages can be captioned in native script or in Roman letters, and any of them can be translated into English.
Do I need an account?
Yes, to caption. A free account holds your minutes and saves your captions, so you can open the same video on another device and carry on. Continue with Google and you are in within seconds.
What does Auto Trim actually remove?
Silences, filler sounds, stumbles and repeated takes, found from the transcript. Every cut is shown before it is final, and one click restores anything. It needs spoken words to work from.
Does anything renew automatically?
No. Every purchase is one-time. A pass or plan runs for the week, month or year you bought and then stops, and we never keep your card on file.
Where does my video go?
The video stays on your device. The browser extracts the audio track and sends only that to the speech-recognition provider; the transcribed text then goes to a language model for the Roman spelling or translation. Your captions are saved in your browser and, when you are signed in, to your account. The Privacy Policy names every provider.
How accurate is the Telugu?
Good on clear speech, and every word is timed by the speech engine. Accuracy drops with background noise, music, crosstalk and strong accents, and the Roman spelling is a language model's best guess at how people type. Always read the captions before you publish: you can fix any word inline, and the 5 free minutes let you judge it on your own footage first.
Which browsers work?
Chrome and Edge on desktop are best. MP4 export needs a browser with WebCodecs (Chrome, Edge, Safari 17+). SRT export (paid passes and plans) works in every browser.
